Petang tadi saya masak pai labu ikut resepi dari buku yang saya baru beli tajuknya "In the mood for pastries & tarts" oleh Alan Ooi ( bukan promote buku ni ya hanya bagi cadangan pada yang baru nak cuba masak pie macam saya ni) buku ada dijual di Popular . Semua resepi nampak gayanya macam senang buat dan first time saya buat pie labu jadi juga .
Rasa pie ni memang sedap sangat hmmm cukup lemak manis dan ada rasa rempah macam serbuk kayu manis , semua rasa balance sedapppppnyaaa...saya bagi resepi yang saya ambil dari buku ni..
Yum yum pumpkin pie.........
SWEET SHORT CRUST PASTRIES
Ingredient:
A
200gm plain flour
20gm milk powder
11ogm butter
50gm icing sugar
1 1/4 salt
B
2 1/2 table spoon water
METHOD :
-Mix ingredients A till crumbly . Add in ingredients B, mix to form dough.
-Shape it into ball and press it flat. wrape it up with plastic and chill it in refrigerate for 30 minutes.

PUMPKIN PIE
Ingredients:
1 portion sweet short crust pastry
Fillings:
A
400gm pumpkin
B
110gm brown sugar
120ml UHT whipping cream
3 eggs [B]
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon groung ginger
1/8 teaspoon groung clove
1/2 teaspoon salt
METHOD:
Dough:
-Roll short crust pastry into 3mm thickness,press it into mould. Bake in preheated oven at 175 degree celcius for 15 minutes or untill the pastry turns light golden brown.Remove and set aside.
Fillings:
-Steam pumpkin untill softens. Mash it and mix it with Fillings B.Filter it.
-Pour the fillings into pie mould, bake in preheated oven at 180 degree celcius for 40 minutes.
Pai yang dah ready nak masuk dalam oven..
